Solar water heater

Solar water heating system

A solar water heater is a solar energy collection device designed to provide partial or total domestic hot water (DHW).

This type of heating usually complements water heating systems that use other energy sources (electricity, fossil fuels, biomass, etc.); under certain conditions it can completely replace them.

As solar energy is renewable, this replacement effectively limits greenhouse gas emissions or nuclear waste production, which is why the installation of such devices is strongly encouraged by many states and communities through taxation, incentives and/or mandatory installation on new buildings.

Our educational solar water heater is equipped with solar collectors, hot water tank, regulator, datalooger*, circuit breaker and energy metering module and it meets all the requirements of the Industrial and Tertiary BAC PRO MELEC.
